Illustrations featuring trees inspired by my own photos and sketches of outdoor places. As part of my ongoing project 'Nature Connection for the People', this calendar provides a year of colourful, welcoming scenes to encourage a love of trees, and a desire to go outdoors and admire them in real life. Studies have shown many health benefits of trees, particularly of the Japanese art of Shinrin-Yoku - forest bathing. There are also local environmental benefits of trees during flooding and hot weather, and social and cultural benefits of street trees in cities which highlight the need to consider the importance of trees in all areas of human life.
