This design takes inspiration from 1960s psychedelic poster artists who, at the time, broke all the rules of conventional design to reflect the counter-culture scene, combining commercial printing and fine art. I drew this digital illustration using halftone texture to reflect traditional printing techniques, highlighting the social and environmental revolutions of the 1960s which are still relevant today.
 
As Prior is a local company in Whistler, I gave the design a British Columbia spin on the psychedelic themes of peace, love and consciousness. Featuring beautiful mountains and waves; summer flowers; winter snow-covered trees; and the sun and the moon overseeing all the fun outdoor activities.
