On a summer day
This peaceful riverside art print in inspired by a camping trip to Betws-y-Coed in Snowdonia, to discover waterfalls and enjoy the mountain views (and we got an excellent takeaway pizza in Betws.) We clambered down the rocks to explore the little waterfalls and pools of the River Llugwy under the Pont-y-Pair bridge, and I spotted this view for a moment along the river, with beautiful trees and reflections in the water. Inspired by the textures and bold shapes in retro travel posters, I drew this Betws-y-Coed travel poster art print in colourful overlapping layers in the style of screenprinting or risoprinting.
