This is a three-layer screenprint of the road leading to the distant Cholsey Hill on a late summer evening in the South Oxfordshire countryside, with Didcot Power Station, Wittenham Clumps and the railway line on the horizon. The gentle sunset ombre colours are achieved by printing a blend from sky blue, to dusk, to yellow wheat all in one layer. Hand-drawn and printed by me at Oxford Printmakers Co-operative.
