Thornton Force, on the Ingleton waterfalls trail is dramatic and uplifting, what a joyful adventure in this beautiful corner of Yorkshire. Every waterfall on the trail from Ingleton village has a magical feeling and unique view, Thornton Force is an ideal sandwich stop, with space to clamber on the rocks and relax in the sunshine (or shelter in the trees fro the rain...). Inspired by the textures and bold shapes in vintage travel posters, I drew this Ingleton waterfall art print in colourful overlapping layers in the style of screenprinting or risoprinting, with bold graphic shapes for a retro mid century feeling.
